Today marks the 10th anniversary of the unveiling of the Bomber Command memorial by Her Majesty the Queen. On that hot day back in June 2012 I commissioned a roving photographer to take pictures, for use in the Bomber Command memorial book. Herewith is a small selection of images, the majority of which we did not publish.
Copyright on all the photos belongs to Steve Darlow and Fighting High. The memorial is now maintained by the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund.
